COLLEEN MARIE LASKY

Colleen has spent a combined seventeen years providing services in counseling and spiritual direction. She received a BA in Communications with a concentration in Journalism from the University of Detroit Mercy, where she graduated with honors in 1996. In 2008 she received an MA in Community Counseling from John Carroll University. Later, after feeling called to become a spiritual director, she received a certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Ignatian Spirituality Institute (ISI) in 2012. In addition, she is a freelance writer. 

Colleen has been an associate of the Congregation of St. Joseph (CSJ) since 2013. She is striving to live out the generous promises of the CSJ charism to work for systemic change in collaboration with others in the world so hungers may be met, to help create a culture of inclusivity with the "dear neighbor," and to recognize her connection with the Earth, taking steps to strengthen, heal and renew it.
